Bestinvest also <em>promotes <\/em>specific tax-advantaged \u2018wrappers\u2019 in which these funds can be held e.g. Individual Savings Accounts (\u2018ISAs\u2019) and Self Invested Personal Pensions (\u2018SIPPs\u2019).<\/p>\n<p>To help guide clients, Bestinvest provides web-based tools and issue product information, Independent Investment Research, market commentary and example portfolios. In providing these Bestinvest are not giving a tailored \u2018personal recommendation\u2019 or suggesting that a particular fund, wrapper or investment strategy is suitable for your specific personal or financial circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>In some cases, Bestinvest will also provide with independent advice. This will focus on the investment strategy and recommend funds from the whole of the market for meeting investment objectives.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Financial Planning<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bestinvest financial planning services aim to assess needs and identify individual\u2019s financial goals. Bestinvest then makes recommendations accordingly. This includes strategic advice on meeting individual\u2019s financial planning goals, where recommendations for specific products are made, this will be independent advice with the available products drawn from across the whole of the market \u2013 including fund groups and insurance companies.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Investment Management<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bestinvest \u00a0offers two portfolio management services. For clients with portfolios from \u00a3100,000 &#8211; \u2018funds only management\u2019 service is based around a funds supermarket platform and invests only in unit trusts and OEICs. For clients with portfolios from \u00a3250,000 Bestinvest offers a full discretionary management service that may include listed securities (eg. Listed shares, Investment Trusts or shares listed on alternative markets) or exposure to unregulated collective investment schemes.<\/p>\n<p>Both services work on the basis of client agreeing investment objectives with an investment manager who will then exercise his discretion in buying, selling or holding investments to meet client&#8217;s objectives.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Award-winning service<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The quality of services has been recognized many times by the national press, industry peers and &#8211;
