According to figures released by ADP, private sector in the U.S. added 206,000 jobs in the month of November, well above economists\u2019 forecast of 130,000.<\/p>\n<p>Commerzbank analyst Daniel Briesemann told CNBC today that in the last couple of weeks <a href=\"https:\/\/stockmarketwatch.com\/metal\/gold-price.aspx\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"gold price today\">gold<\/a> has been behaving like a risky asset and equities and <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/commodities\/today.aspx\">commodities<\/a> are up.<\/p>\n<p>At last check, spot <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/metal\/gold-price.aspx\">gold prices<\/a> were trading 1.8% higher at $1,746.59 an ounce. Gold <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/commodities\/today.aspx\">futures<\/a> for delivery in December on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange rose 1.5% to $1,740 an ounce.<\/p>\n<p>Gold <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/etfs\/today.aspx\">ETFs<\/a> are also soaring in mid-day trading today. At last check, the SPDR Gold Trust (ETF) (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=gld\">NYSE: GLD<\/a>) was trading 1.85% higher at $169.97, the Market Vectors ETF Trust (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=gdx\">NYSE: GDX<\/a>) was trading 4.98% higher at $59.27, and the iShares Gold Trust (ETF) (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=iau\">NYSE: IAU<\/a>) was trading 1.73% higher at $17.02.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/metal\/silver-price.aspx\">Silver<\/a> prices have also reversed earlier losses and are sharply higher currently. At last check, sport <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/metal\/silver-price.aspx\">silver<\/a> was trading 1.03% higher at $32.22 an ounce.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stockmarketwatch.com\/metal\/silver-price.aspx\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"silver price today\">Silver<\/a> ETFs are also climbing in mid-day trading.
