<\/a>Famous actress and fitness expert Jane Fonda has confirmed the rumors of being diagnosed with breast cancer. The early stage non-invasive breast cancer was found a few weeks back during a routine checkup.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Fonda told Entertainment Tonight about the diagnosis of the breast cancer and the treatment has already begun. The tumor has been removed and chemotherapy is currently going on. Jane Fonda is actively taking part in promoting her new fitness DVDs which are about to be launched on November 30th.
\nThis news is coming just after the Breast Cancer Awareness month of October which saw large scale campaigns for breast cancer awareness throughout the world. Recently Pfizer<\/strong> (NYSE<\/a>:PFE<\/strong>) identified proteins which make the detection and diagnosis of breast cancer much simpler and faster. Jane Fonda is thankful to the breast cancer awareness campaigns and advancements in breast cancer detection that helped identify the cancer in its early stages. Women who are physically beautiful like Jane Fonda are at a higher risk of developing breast cancer because of increased estrogen levels in the blood which are responsible for increased cancer growth. A diet which is low in meat and milk products is suggested to keep cancer at bay.<\/p>\n
