Adjusted EBITDA for the fourth quarter was $34.4 million, compared with $16.3 million reported in the fourth quarter of 2010.<\/p>\n<p>For the full year 2011, LinkedIn reported revenue of $522.2 million, representing an increase of 115% over the same period in the previous year. The company\u2019s GAAP earnings per share for the full year rose to $0.11 from $0.07.<\/p>\n<p>Jeff Weiner, CEO of LinkedIn, said that fourth quarter once again exceeded the company\u2019s expectations for member engagement and business growth and it was a fitting end to a memorable year in which the company reinforced its position as the pre-eminent professional network on the web. Weiner also said that the company believes continued focus on its members and technology infrastructure positions it well for accelerated product innovation in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>LinkedIn shares rose to an intra-day high of $91.20 in trading on Friday.
