Mr. Wet also added that \u201cit will be difficult for <a href=\"https:\/\/stockmarketwatch.com\/metal\/gold-price.aspx\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"gold price today\">gold<\/a> to break out of that range\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>With U.S equities dropping amid economic uncertainty, safe haven instruments like gold, the dollar and U.S. government debt have benefited from investors, with gold rallying more than 1 percent and U.S. Treasuries yields dropping 4-week lows in the previous session.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, prospects of further monetary easing from fed along with inflation spike in consumer prices in China has also supported the sentiment in gold, regarded as a hedge against rising prices.<\/p>\n<p>In some other metal markets, <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/metal\/silver-price.aspx\">Silver<\/a> edged lower 0.5 percent to $31.61 an ounce at last check.
