Stocks are rebounding after posting losses for five consecutive days. Sentiments improved today after concerns about the euro zone eased a little and Alcoa Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/nyse\/today.aspx\">NYSE<\/a>: AA) kicked off the earnings season on a strong note.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-24555\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>At last check, the <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/dowjones\/today.aspx\">Dow Jones<\/a> was trading 0.81% higher at 12,819.39, the <a href=\"https:\/\/stockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/sp500\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"snp500 today\">S&amp;P 500<\/a> was trading 0.89% higher at 1,370.67, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/nasdaq\/today.aspx\">Nasdaq<\/a> was trading 0.96% higher at 3,019.80.<\/p>\n<p><!--Ad Injection mfunc mode ad code--><!--mfunc adshow_display_ad_file_v2(array('ad_random_1.txt'), array(100), array('align' => 'float right', 'clear' => '', 'margin_top' => '', 'margin_bottom' => '', 'padding_top' => '', 'padding_bottom' => ''), array(), array()) --><\/p>\n<div style=\"float:right;margin-left:5px;\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-1408583772585547\";\n\/* SMW - in News 300 *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"5684630733\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 300;\ngoogle_ad_height = 250;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p><!--\/mfunc--><\/p>\n<p>All sectors in the S&amp;P 500 are currently in green. Industrials are leading the gains in the S&amp;P 500 today after falling more than 2% on Tuesday. At last check, the sector was trading 1.66% higher. Energy stocks are currently trading 0.67% higher, while Basic Materials stocks are currently trading 0.83% higher. Financials are currently trading 1.54% higher. Transportation stocks are currently trading 1.16% higher.<\/p>\n<p>Alcoa shares have been among the major gainers in trading. Alcoa shares are gaining on the back of better than expected first-quarter financial results. The stock rose to an intra-day high of $10.15, and at last check, it was up 7.56% to $10.02 on above average volume of 58.46 million.<\/p>\n<p>Among the major gainers in mid-day trading today are Travelzoo Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=TZOO\">NASDAQ: TZOO<\/a>), which is currently trading 31.81% higher at $27.76, Titan Machinery Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=TITN\">NASDAQ: TITN<\/a>), which is currently trading 15.58% higher at $31.75, Mattress Firm Holding Corp.
