The gains in the S&amp;P 500 are being led by Conglomerates, which are currently trading 1.65% higher. Industrials have also risen sharply in trading today. At last check, the sector was trading 1.53% higher. Basic Materials stocks are currently trading 0.81% higher, while Energy stocks are currently trading 0.52% higher. Utilities are up 1.03% in mid-day trading. Financials are currently trading 0.46% higher. Technology stocks are up 0.44% currently.<\/p>\n<p>Among the major gainers in mid-day trading today are Microsoft Corporation (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=MSFT\">NASDAQ: MSFT<\/a>), which is currently trading 5.70% higher at $32.78, SkyPeople Fruit Juice Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=SPU\">NASDAQ: SPU<\/a>), which is currently trading 18.71% higher at $1.84, Kimberley Clark Corporation (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=KMB\">NYSE: KMB<\/a>), which is currently trading 1.99% higher at $76.76, General Electric Company (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=GE\">NYSE: GE<\/a>), which is currently trading 1.93% higher at $19.51, and McDonald\u2019s Corporation (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=MCD\">NYSE: MCD<\/a>), which is currently trading 2.04% higher at $97.22.<\/p>\n<p>Among the major losers in trading currently are Riverbed Technology Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/nasdaq\/today.aspx\">NASDAQ<\/a>: RVBD), which is currently trading 26.17% lower at $20.57, and Tempur-Pedic International Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/nyse\/today.aspx\">NYSE<\/a>: TPX), which is currently trading 20.57% lower at $66.52.<\/p>\n<p>European markets ended mostly higher in trading today, with all major indexes in the region finishing in green.
