(<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=AAPL\">NASDAQ: AAPL<\/a>) yesterday even as expectations are on that the Federal Reserve may provide some hint on further quantitative easing measures after its monetary policy meeting ends later today.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-25579\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>While <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/commodities\/today.aspx\">futures<\/a> on the <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/dowjones\/today.aspx\">Dow Jones<\/a> Industrial Average\u00a0were adding 65 points, or 0.5%, to 13,024, <a href=\"https:\/\/stockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/sp500\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"snp500 today\">S&amp;P 500<\/a> Index futures\u00a0were advancing 9.8 points, or 0.7%, to 1,379.90, at last check.<\/p>\n<p><!--Ad Injection mfunc mode ad code--><!--mfunc adshow_display_ad_file_v2(array('ad_random_1.txt'), array(100), array('align' => 'float right', 'clear' => '', 'margin_top' => '', 'margin_bottom' => '', 'padding_top' => '', 'padding_bottom' => ''), array(), array()) --><\/p>\n<div style=\"float:right;margin-left:5px;\"><script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\ngoogle_ad_client = \"ca-pub-1408583772585547\";\n\/* SMW - in News 300 *\/\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"5684630733\";\ngoogle_ad_width = 300;\ngoogle_ad_height = 250;\n\/\/-->\n<\/script><br \/>\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p><!--\/mfunc--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/nasdaq\/today.aspx\">Nasdaq<\/a> 100 futures\u00a0also climbed up 51.5 points, or 1.9%, to 2,684.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, equity markets around the world rebounded on Wednesday as strong earnings from Wall Street, easing concerns over debt crises in the euro-zone lifted the market sentiment.<\/p>\n<p>On U.S. economic news front, the economic calendar features data on March durable goods orders is expected to be released at 8:30 a.m. Eastern.<\/p>\n<p>The Fed is expected to announce its rate decision at 12:30 p.m. Eastern. The committee\u2019s report on quarterly growth, employment and interest-rate forecast is due at 2 p.m., followed by Bernanke\u2019s news conference at 2:15 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting over FOMC, strategist at Barclays Capital wrote in their note, \u201cWe expect two issues to emerge from today\u2019s FOMC meeting and press conference: A somewhat softer economic outlook and a slightly more hawkish policy stance, both of which would likely have negative implications for equities\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Some high profile earnings reports are due on Wednesday. Aircraft manufacturer Boeing Co. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=BA\">NYSE: BA<\/a>), construction-equipment maker Caterpillar Inc.\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=CAT\">NYSE: CAT<\/a>), telecom provider Sprint Nextel Corp. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/nyse\/today.aspx\">NYSE<\/a>: S) and few more heavyweights are scheduled to report results later today.<\/p>\n<p>Shares that are likely to trade actively on Wednesday are Apple and Juniper Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/nyse\/today.aspx\">NYSE<\/a>: JNPR). Apple shares gained 10% in today\u2019s Frankfurt trading as the company announced after yesterday\u2019s closing bell ring that its earnings leaped 93% for March quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Juniper Networks although reported a drop in earnings on Tuesday, the numbers were better than expectations.
