Stocks have been pushed higher as investors digested some solid corporate earnings reports, including blowout quarterly results from technology giant Apple Inc. Technology stocks are leading the gains in the S&amp;P 500 in early trading today. At last check, the sector was trading 2.47% higher. Basic Materials stocks are currently trading 1.32% higher, while Energy stocks are currently trading 0.85% higher. Industrials are up 1.17% in early trading, while Conglomerates are up 0.72% in early trading. Financials are currently trading 0.92% higher. Consumer Cyclical stocks are currently trading 1.10% higher.<\/p>\n<p>Apple shares are soaring after the technology giant reported another blowout quarter. The Cupertino, California-based company\u2019s second-quarter profit nearly doubled, driven by stronger than expected iPhone sales in China. At last check, Apple shares were trading 10.22% higher at $617.54.<\/p>\n<p>Other major gainers in early trading today are Panera Bread Co. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=PNRA\">NASDAQ: PNRA<\/a>), which is currently trading 6.10% higher at $157.29, Cray Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=CRAY\">NASDAQ: CRAY<\/a>), which is currently trading 27.84% higher at $9, GeoResources Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=GEOI\">NASDAQ: GEOI<\/a>), which is currently trading 18.46% higher at $36.45, and Boeing Company (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/nyse\/today.aspx\">NYSE<\/a>: BA), which is currently trading 4.33% higher at $76.38.<\/p>\n<p>European markets have also risen sharply in trading today. At last check, the FTSE 100 Index in London was trading 0.25% higher, while the CAC 40 Index in Paris was trading 2.28% higher.
