My favorites are MVIS, HUSA and GERN but I&#8217;ll be monitoring all 7 and there&#8217;s a good chance I&#8217;ll be moving on some of these with my premium members.<\/p>\n<p>The criteria I scan for is at least $1 million in dollar volume, a Beta above 1 and preferably 2, a market cap around $50m and $2b and the more short interest the better. There&#8217;s a good mix of oversold plays and continuation patterns here. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=HUSA\">AMEX:HUSA)<\/a> engages in the acquisition, exploration, exploitation, development, and production of natural gas and crude oil properties in the U.S. Gulf Coast region and South America. HUSA stock has a Beta of 1.85, short interest of 4 days to cover and a market cap of $56 million. Definitely one of my favorites.<\/p>\n<p>Microvision (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=MVIS\">NASDAQ:MVIS<\/a>) engages in the development of miniature laser display and imaging engines based upon its proprietary PicoP display engine technology. MVIS stock has a Beta of 2.27, short interest of 9 days to cover and a market cap of $33 million. Probably my favorite.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h3\">Hovnanian Enterprises Inc (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=HOV\">NYSE:HOV<\/a>) designs, constructs, markets, and sells residential homes in the United States. HOV stock has a Beta of 3.36 (Oh yea!), short interest of 3 days to cover and a market cap of $192 million.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h3\">Golden Star Resources Ltd (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=GSS\">AMEX:GSS<\/a>) engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, and operation of <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/metal\/gold-price.aspx\">gold<\/a> properties. GSS stock has a Beta of 1.45, short interest of 5 days to cover and a market cap of $413 million.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h3\">Gmx Resources Inc (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=GMXR\">NASDAQ:GMXR<\/a>) operates as an independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company primarily in the United States. GMXR stock has a Beta of 3.16 (Boom!), short interest of 6 days to cover and a market cap of $86 million.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h3\">Geron Corp. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=GERN\">NASDAQ:GERN<\/a>) is a bio-pharmaceutical company developing therapies for cancer. GERN stock has a Beta of 1.67, short interest of 10 days to cover (My wheel house) and a market cap of $225 million. Definite favorite to run before earnings, was on this video last week too at $1.60.<\/p>\n<p id=\"h3\">Sino Clean Energy Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=SCEI\">NASDAQ:SCEI<\/a>) operates as a third party commercial producer and distributor of coal-water slurry fuel in the People&#8217;s Republic of China. SCEI stock has a Beta of 3.39 (Ya baby!), short interest of 1 day to cover and a market cap of $45 million.<\/p>\n<p>1. Expand 2. Play 3.
