At last check, the sector was trading 0.93% higher. Financials are also up sharply in late trading. At last check, the sector was trading 0.88% higher. Energy stocks are currently trading 0.85% higher, while Basic Materials stocks are currently trading 0.46% higher. Conglomerates are up 0.77% in late trading. Technology stocks have been the worst performers in the S&amp;P 500 today. At last check, the sector was trading 0.60% lower.<\/p>\n<p>Technology sector has been dragged lower by Cisco Systems (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/nasdaq\/today.aspx\">NASDAQ<\/a>: CSCO). Shares of the San Jose, California-based company have tumbled in trading today as it gave a disappointing outlook. At last check, Cisco shares were trading 10.04% lower at $16.90.<\/p>\n<p>Other major movers in late trading today are InfoSpace Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=INSP\">NASDAQ: INSP<\/a>), which is currently trading 23.32% higher at $13.54, Copano Energy LLC (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=CPNO\">NASDAQ: CPNO<\/a>), which is currently trading 11.82% lower at $30.72, and StarTek Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/nyse\/today.aspx\">NYSE<\/a>: SRT), which is currently trading 43.41% higher at $2.61.<\/p>\n<p>On the economic front, the Labor Department today reported that initial jobless claims fell by 1,000 last week. Meanwhile, a report from the Commerce Department showed that the U.S. trade deficit widened more than forecast in March.<\/p>\n<p>European markets ended mostly higher in trading today, with all major indexes in the region closing in green.
