Basic Materials sector also rose sharply, ending the day 0.31% higher. Transportation sector ended the day 0.37% higher. Healthcare sector finished 0.36% higher. Energy sector rose 0.22%. Consumer Cyclical sector ended marginally lower in trading today.<\/p>\n<p>Among the major gainers and losers in trading today were Fusion-io Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=FIO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: FIO<\/a>), which ended the day 27.78% higher at $26.86, J.C. Penney Company Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=JCP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: JCP<\/a>), which ended the day 5.88% higher at $23.40, Janus Capital Group Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=JNS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: JNS<\/a>), which ended the day 10.01% higher at $8.46, Ubiquiti Networks Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=UBNT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: UBNT<\/a>), which ended the day 41.97% lower at $8.71, Roundy\u2019s Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=RNDY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: RNDY<\/a>), which ended the day 24.63% lower at $7.71, Monster Beverage Company (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=MNST\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: MNST<\/a>), which ended the day 11.32% lower at $54.27, and Groupon Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=GRPN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: GRPN<\/a>), which ended the day 11.88% higher at $7.44.<\/p>\n<p>European markets ended mostly lower in trading today, with the FTSE 100 Index in London ending the day 0.08% lower, and the CAC 40 Index in Paris ending the day 0.61% lower.
