However, the gains have been limited as investors remain cautious ahead of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knowfinance.com\/federal-reserve-system-fed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federal Reserve<\/a>\u2019s annual symposium, which will be held later this week in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-33106\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>At last check, the <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/dowjones\/today.aspx\">Dow Jones<\/a> was trading 0.02% higher at 13,160.06, the <a href=\"https:\/\/stockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/sp500\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"snp500 today\">S&amp;P 500<\/a> was trading 0.29% higher at 1,415.18, and the Nasdaq was trading 0.39% higher at 3,081.66.<\/p>\n<p>Technology sector is leading the gains in the S&amp;P 500 in mid-day trading today. At last check, the sector was trading 0.58% higher. Conglomerates are also gaining in mid-day trading. At last check, the sector was trading 0.40% higher. Energy sector is currently trading 0.23% higher. Consumer Cyclical and Transportation sectors have been the worst performers in trading today. Both sectors are currently down 0.37%. Basic Materials sector is currently trading 0.17% lower.<\/p>\n<p>Apple Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=AAPL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: AAPL<\/a>) shares are among the major gainers in trading today. Apple shares are gaining after the iPhone maker won a patent infringement case against Samsung. AAPL shares rose to an all-time high of $680.87 in trading today. At last check, the stock was up 2.07% to $676.95.<\/p>\n<p>Other major gainers in trading currently are Hertz Global Holdings Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=HTZ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: HTZ<\/a>), which is currently trading 11.03% higher at $14.60, Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=DTG\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: DTG<\/a>), which is currently trading 7.40% higher at $86.99, Tiffany &amp; Co. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=TIF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: TIF<\/a>), which is currently trading 6.92% higher at $62.55, and Nokia Corporation (ADR) (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=NOK\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: NOK<\/a>), which is currently trading 8.60% higher at $3.35.<\/p>\n<p>Among the major losers in mid-day trading are Universal Display Corporation (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=PANL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: PANL<\/a>), which is currently trading 7.20% lower at $39.65, and Kayak Software Corp.
