Should the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.knowfinance.com\/federal-reserve-system-fed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fed<\/a> disappoint at its September policy meeting, the risk of a stock sell-off is high,\u201d Bank of America Merrill Lynch analysts wrote in a note to clients, Aug. 21.<\/p>\n<p><!--Ad Injection mfunc mode ad code--><!--mfunc--><\/p>\n<p><!--\/mfunc--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome in the markets think that the <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/\">stock market<\/a>,\u201d the analysts add.\u00a0 \u201cThere is a curious circularity to this view, however: the Fed will not launch QE3 so long as stock prices are high, yet the <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/\">stock market<\/a> is high because it anticipates QE3.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The old adage on the Street, \u2018buy the rumor, sell the fact\u2019, may be at play here. But if Bernanke plays too-hard-to-get with investors in the coming weeks, a nasty fall could be in store for the Fed chief\u2014a fall that could outright overwhelm the NY Fed\u2019s PPT and result in a stock market plunge akin to the Crash of 1987.\u00a0 Maybe.<\/p>\n<p>The chart of the SP 500, Spanish IBEX 35 and Chinese SSEC shows the gaping chasm between U.S. stocks and two indexes represented by two economies with, again, divergent outlooks.\u00a0 Spain\u2019s fiscal outlook in coming years isn\u2019t much different from the federal budget outlook for the U.S., while the Chinese $3 trillion war chest of reserves couldn\u2019t be in a better relative position to survive the righting of the bogus \u2018World is Flat\u2019 global agenda.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www2.thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock-market-news\/wp-content\/plugins\/RSSPoster_PRO\/cache\/f1aac_Chart.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-31708\" title=\"Chart\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20120903042220im_\/http:\/\/www2.thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock-market-news\/wp-content\/plugins\/RSSPoster_PRO\/cache\/f1aac_Chart.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"366\" height=\"297\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Would Bernanke risk a market meltdown that snaps the notion of an eternal \u2018Bernanke put\u2019?\u00a0 Is he that confident that the remaining holdouts of an obviously rigged market will plunge the world economy into the anticipated financial Armageddon\u2014before a U.S. presidential election?<\/p>\n<p>The answer may be a shocking, even cockamamy\u2014YES and YES!\u00a0 And it may not be that much of a risk.\u00a0 A surprise \u2018not yet\u2019 to further money printing at Jackson Hole and the FOMC meeting could be forthcoming.<\/p>\n<p>Consider the geopolitics in the Middle East, and contemplate the dire political tug-o-war between Israel\u2019s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Barrack Obama regarding Iran.\u00a0 Netanyahu insists military action against Iran be taken before the U.S. election in November, while Obama remains adamant that the issue surrounding Iran must wait until after the election\u2014a stand which probably infuriates the warmongering neocons and bankers, who have since put their stock on Republican candidate for president Mitt Romney as their next bankster puppet.<\/p>\n<p>And the white-hot ambitious, some say, narcissistic, Romney won\u2019t be taking any chances leading up to what is expected to be a close election, if recent polls serve as a guide.\u00a0 He may need a little help from a financial catastrophe to convince enough voters that they may have to believe in a different kind of change.<\/p>\n<p>But first, Romney must take the pledge\u2014for the record.<\/p>\n<p>Jul. 29, he told a gathering of Israelis in Jerusalem:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe serve the same cause and we provoke the same hatreds in the same enemies of civilization. It is my firm conviction that the security of Israel is in the vital national security interests of the United States . . .<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIsrael and America are, in many respects, reflections of one another.\u00a0 We both believe in democracy, in the right of every people to select their leaders, and choose their nation\u2019s course. We both believe in the rule of law, knowing that in its absence, willful men will be inclined to oppress the weak. We both believe that our rights are universal, granted not by our government, but by our creator.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Later in the speech, Romney spoke the magical words that signaled the Netanyahu regime that he, not Obama, is your man.<\/p>\n<p>Stopping Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons \u201cmust be our highest national security priority\u201d and \u201cwe must use any and all measures\u201d to destroy that capability.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cContainment is not an option,\u201d Romney added.<\/p>\n<p>And because \u201cboth men [Obama and Netanyahu] share a deep dislike and distrust of each other,\u201d writes Anshel Pfeffer of the leftist Israeli newspaper\u00a0<em>Haaretz<\/em>, the Israeli and Anglo-American mutually aligned partnership in the petrodollar wars must not be jeopardized by a Commander and Chief not willing to do what\u2019s necessary, in the eyes of the neocons, of course.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, Obama must go, leaving the <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/metal\/gold-price.aspx\">gold price<\/a> (maybe) before the out-of-control launch of the yellow metal truly begins during the first year of a Romney first term.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf the SP drops 150 or 200 points, you can be sure that there will be more QE, not only QE3 but QE4 and so forth,\u201d Swiss money manager Marc Faber tells\u00a0<em>GoldSeek Radio<\/em>\u00a0this past weekend.<\/p>\n<p>But, not to worry.
