Stocks are gaining on the back of better than expected existing home sales and further monetary easing from the Bank of Japan to boost economic growth.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-34446\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>At last check, the <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/dowjones\/today.aspx\">Dow Jones<\/a> was trading 0.33% higher at 13,608.77, the <a href=\"https:\/\/stockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/sp500\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"snp500 today\">S&amp;P 500<\/a> was trading 0.30% higher at 1,463.70, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/nasdaq\/today.aspx\">Nasdaq<\/a> was trading 0.28% higher at 3,185.55.<\/p>\n<p>Consumer Cyclical sector is leading the gains in the S&amp;P 500 in late trading. At last check, the sector was trading 0.87% higher. Services sector has also risen sharply in trading today. At last check, the sector was trading 0.69% higher. Basic Materials sector is currently trading 0.31% higher, while Industrials are currently trading 0.42% higher. Financials are up 0.31% in trading currently. Energy sector has been the worst performer in the S&amp;P 500 in trading today. At last check, the sector was down 0.43%.<\/p>\n<p>Among the major gainers in late trading today are Groupon Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=GRPN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: GRPN<\/a>), which is currently trading 12.79% higher at $5.29, US Airways Group Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=LCC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: LCC<\/a>), which is currently trading 7.47% higher at $11.08, General Mills Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=GIS\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: GIS<\/a>), which is currently trading 2.01% higher at $40.10, United Continental Holdings Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=UAL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: UAL<\/a>), which is currently trading 7.42% higher at $20.70, and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc.
