Combined annual revenues for the two acquired businesses are more than $30 million. Financial terms of the transactions were not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>Effective December 31, 2012, Airgas USA, LLC acquired the assets and operations of Metroplex Service Welding Supply, Inc. Metroplex locations in Fort Worth, Decatur, Gainesville, Burleson, and Mineral Wells, TX, and 47 associates are now part of Airgas&#8217; Southwest region.<\/p>\n<p>Effective December 31, 2012, Airgas USA, LLC acquired the assets and operations of Excel Welding &amp; Industrial Supplies, Inc. Excel&#8217;s Philadelphia, PA, location and 10 associates are now part of Airgas&#8217; East region.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Acquiring Metroplex and Excel will help to further increase our density and strengthen our competitive position in each of these geographies.
