(<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=YELP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: YELP<\/a>) rallied during extended trading hours on Wednesday after the restaurant and business review website reported better-than-expected revenue for the fiscal first quarter and provided upbeat revenue guidance for the current quarter.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-44108\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>However, loss per share exceeded Street\u2019s estimate.<\/p>\n<p>For the quarter, the San Francisco CA based Company reported a loss of 8 cents a share while analysts\u2019 polled by Thomson Reuters were expecting a loss of 6 cents a share.<\/p>\n<p>Revenue during the quarter came at $46.13 million, beating analysts\u2019 consensus estimate of $44.54 million.<\/p>\n<p>For the current quarter, Yelp anticipates revenue to come in the range of $52.5 million to $53.5 million, which would represent a 62% jump in revenue from the year-earlier quarter.<\/p>\n<p>For the fiscal 2013, the Company expects net revenue to be in the range of $216 million and $218 million, which would represent 58% growth over fiscal 2012 revenue.<\/p>\n<p>Several Wall Street analysts have initiated coverage on the stock.
