All three major indexes also ended sharply higher for the week.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-44337\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/dowjones\/today.aspx\">Dow Jones<\/a> ended the day 0.24% higher at 15,118.49, the S&amp;P 500 ended the day 0.43% higher at 1,633.70, and the Nasdaq ended the day 0.80% higher at 3,436.58.<\/p>\n<p>For the week, the <a href=\"https:\/\/stockmarketwatch.com\/markets\/dowjones\/today.aspx\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Dow Jones Today\">Dow Jones<\/a> rose 0.97%, the S&amp;P 500 rose 1.18%, and the Nasdaq rose 1.72%.<\/p>\n<p>All sectors in the S&amp;P except Energy ended the day in green. The gains were led by Consumer Cyclical sector, which ended the day 1.19% higher. Healthcare sector also rose sharply, ending the day 1.18% higher. Energy sector ended the day 0.29% lower.<\/p>\n<p>Among the major movers on Friday were Warner Chilcott Plc (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=WCRX\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: WCRX<\/a>), which ended the day 19.99% higher at $18.01, Universal Display Corporation (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=PANL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: PANL<\/a>), which ended the day 17.54% lower at $27.50, NVIDIA Corp. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=NVDA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: NVDA<\/a>), which ended the day 4.53% higher at $14.54, Molycorp Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=MCP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: MCP<\/a>), which ended the day 31.31% higher at $7.34, and magicJack VocalTec Ltd. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=CALL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: CALL<\/a>), which ended the day 11.33% lower at $17.06.<\/p>\n<p>European markets ended mostly higher on Friday, with the FTSE 100 Index in London closing 0.49% higher, and the CAC 40 Index in Paris closing 0.64% higher.
