Basic Materials sector also slipped, ending the day 0.24% lower. Utilities ended the day 0.20% lower. Healthcare and Telecommunications sector were the best performers in the S&amp;P 500. Both sectors ended the day 0.20% higher.<\/p>\n<p>Among the major movers on Monday were RF Micro Devices Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=RFMD\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: RFMD<\/a>), which ended the day 3.73% higher at $5.28, Atlas Resource Partners L.P. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=ARP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: ARP<\/a>), which ended the day 4.99% lower at $21.90, Facebook Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=FB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: FB<\/a>), which ended the day 4.46% higher at $24.33, Dynavax Technologies Corporation (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=DVAX\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: DVAX<\/a>), which ended the day 43.32% lower at $1.40, and Diamond Foods Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=DMND\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: DMND<\/a>), which ended the day 8% higher at $17.54.<\/p>\n<p>European markets ended mostly lower on Monday, with the FTSE 100 Index in London closing 0.18% lower, and the CAC 40 Index in Paris closing 0.21% lower.
