Financials also edged lower, ending the day 0.34% lower. Energy sector fell 0.25%. Consumer Non-Cyclical and Technology were the only sectors in the S&amp;P 500 to finish the day in green.<\/p>\n<p>Among the major movers on Monday were Yelp Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=YELP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: YELP<\/a>), which ended the day 5.28% lower at $54.01, Tyson Foods Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=TSN\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NYSE: TSN<\/a>), which ended the day 4.14% higher at $29.69, InterDigital Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=IDCC\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: IDCC<\/a>), which ended the day 10.01% lower at $36.48, SolarCity Corp. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=SCTY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: SCTY<\/a>), which ended the day 8.25% higher at $45.15, and Fossil Group Inc. (<a href=\"https:\/\/thestockmarketwatch.com\/stock.aspx?stock=FOSL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: FOSL<\/a>), which ended the day 6.04% lower at $107.42.<\/p>\n<p>On the economic front, a report released by the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) showed non-manufacturing activity in the U.S. picked up pace in the month of July.<\/p>\n<p>European markets ended on a mixed note on Monday, with the FTSE 100 Index in London closing 0.43% lower, and the CAC 40 Index in Paris closing 0.11% higher.
