The main narrative driving the market was <strong>quarter-end portfolio rebalancing<\/strong> combined with investor anxiety over <strong>inflationary pressure<\/strong> in the service sector, which weighed heavily on consumer discretionary and tech components.<\/p>\n<p>Amazon (<a href=\"\/stock\/AMZN\">AMZN<\/a>) was the session&#39;s biggest laggard, down <strong>4.39%<\/strong> to <strong>$199.34<\/strong>, followed by UnitedHealth Group (<a href=\"\/stock\/UNH\">UNH<\/a>), which was down <strong>3.93%<\/strong> to <strong>$259.02<\/strong>. Chevron (<a href=\"\/stock\/CVX\">CVX<\/a>) led the gainers, up <strong>1.88%<\/strong> to <strong>$211.15<\/strong>, as <strong>oil prices<\/strong> climbed.
